We are working with a well-established Heat Pump Manufacturer who has an excellent opportunity for an Account Manager.

Our client represents award winning British Engineering at it’s finest and with over two decades of expertise, they also advise Government departments and leading companies on the use and sustainability of Ground Source Heat Pumps.

Overview of the Account Manager

As Account Manager your goal will be to build, establish and maintain strong working relationships with installers of ground source heating pumps.

Main Purpose of Job

  • To identify suitable ground source heat pump projects
  • Identify potential customers and present the advantages of our client’s products
  • Engage in initial conversations with Architects, Clients, and Installers
  • Prepare quotations and proposals
  • Growing the network of installer partners
  • Following up on quotations, convert into sales and hand over to technical team
  • Maintain relationships with installers to further develop sales opportunities

The successful Account Manager will be dealing with Clients, Installers, and architects who operate within the Ground Source Heating sector.

Person Specification:

  • Methodical with a good knowledge of Renewable Heating systems, HVAC and government policies, and routes to market
  • Experience of developing / managing a pipeline of prospects
  • Familiar with CRM systems, Excel and Word
  • Understanding of traditional sales disciplines and customer care
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to identify new opportunities
  • Able to communicate at both a technical and commercial element of GSHP’s
  • Ideally 3 years’ experience in a similar sales or account management role

Package:

  • Basic salary £25,000 - £35,000
