Approved Electrician - Middlesbrough

Our client is a family-owned, forward-thinking company specialising in heating systems and renewable energy technologies. We are looking for a highly skilled Approved Electrician with a passion for quality and innovation to join their dynamic team.

Your Role:

• Install and commission electrical systems for renewable energy projects, including solar PV, battery storage, EV chargers, and heat pumps.
• Perform domestic and commercial installations, including heating systems, lighting upgrades, and consumer unit replacements.
• Conduct fault finding, maintenance, inspections, and testing.
• Collaborate with the heating and renewable energy teams to deliver outstanding results.
• Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and produce accurate certifications.

What They’re Looking For:

• Qualifications: JIB ECS Gold Card, City & Guilds NVQ Level 3, 18th Edition, and 2391 Inspection & Testing (preferred).
• Experience: 5+ years post-qualification, with expertise in wiring heating systems and controls.
• Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills.
• IT proficiency and ability to use electronic job management systems.
• Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points).
