Sales Order Administrator Role:

Our client is currently recruiting for a full-time office-based sales order administrator to work within a small fast paced team.  The successful candidate will oversee customer accounts, processing orders, providing support to clients and act as the central point of contact to the sales team.


  • Accurately process sales orders to ensure customer delivery and collection requests are actioned correctly and efficiently.
  • Providing B2B customer service support via telephone and emails
  • Handle and resolve customer delivery enquiries and organise collections from customers
  • Deal with customer invoice queries, returns, credit, and debit notes effectively to ensure the company minimises payment delays
  • Booking on quote enquires and sending completed estimates to customers
  • General office administration such as ordering stationary, branded marketing, workwear, and warehouse consumables
  • Maintain and review the customer company systems to ensure customer information is correct and up to date.
  • Closely work with and support all departments within the business to ensure first class customer support.
  • Build positive and effective working relationships with all customers - internal and external.

The ideal Sales Order Administrator will possess the following skills / experience:

  • Proficient on IT systems
  • Excellent time management
  • Professional phone manner
  • Experience in a similar role is beneficial
  • Strong Administration skills
  • Inquisitive with an eye for detail
  • Previous sales order processing and customer services experience is essential but full training will be given.


  • Salary - £25k -£30k per annum
  • Hours of work - Monday to Thursday 8:00am – 4:00pm, Friday 8:00am – 3:30pm
  • On a Friday lunch is supplied by our client
  • 25 Days Holiday plus Banks
