Our client is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Electrician to join its fast-growing team.  The successful candidate must be ambitious and keen to establish themselves as a senior electrician within the company that delivers a substantial number of commercial and domestic Solar PV installations each year.

The Role:

The Senior Electrician will form part of a team of 5 electricians at an already well-established renewable energy business and will be expected to be able to work independently on the delivery of the day to day commercial Solar PV installations.

The majority of the work will be on commercial properties, although there is also a number of domestic installations each year as well as domestic and larger commercial battery installation projects and EV charge point installation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

As a senior electrician, the appointed candidate will lead and undertake installation work on site and be responsible for the successful delivery of individual projects.  Upholding high installation standards of all the installation work, above industry standard norms.

Essential Requirements:

  • Higher-level electrical qualifications, AM2 and Inspection and Testing.
  • Minimum of 3 year's experience of working as a Commercial / Industrial Electrician
  • Good IT skills

Desirable:

  • ECS Card with additional safety qualifications for working at heights, confined spaces, etc.

  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Time management and organisational skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
  • Valid driving licence.

  • Salary - £40,000 - £45,000 (OTE £44,000 - £49,500)
